Kyocera EMS lithium battery residential photovoltaic system is currently accepting orders

Japan's Kyocera has already begun to accept orders for household lithium-ion battery energy storage photovoltaic systems. The new system uses solar power generation and stores electricity through lithium batteries, reducing the cost of household electricity.
The lithium-ion battery comes from Samsung SDI with a capacity of 7.2kWh and a rated output of 2.5kW. It can continuously supply electrical products such as refrigerators, air-conditioning units and TVs for up to 12 hours. Earlier, Kyocera announced that it will sell a new system equipped with Kyocera solar power generation equipment and Nikko lithium ion storage system in Japan from this summer.
Kyocera has been working on energy research and development since very early days and has developed an Energy Management System (EMS) using its unique technology. EMS can efficiently control commercial power connected to household appliances and power from solar cells and batteries, so that household energy consumption can be effectively managed.
The new system combines a solar power system with a power storage system, and combines the dual functions of “energy” and “energy storage”, and is equipped with an efficient energy management system to effectively control the energy used inside the home. Kyocera hopes that the system will meet the growing demand for household energy storage equipment after the Great East Japan Earthquake and contribute to the prevention of global warming.
