Deng Hexiang and Ke Fusheng team made breakthroughs in lithium-sulfur battery research

The chemical ** journal "Angew. Chem. Int. Ed." recently published online breakthroughs in the research of Deng Hexiang and Ke Fusheng's lithium-sulfur battery (Li-S) in the School of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences.

In this study, conductive polymer (CP) and metal organic framework (MOF) were used as composite electrodes to realize the first 1000-cycle cycle of Li-S battery at 16.8 A/g charge and discharge current, revealing the MOF material in electrochemical energy storage devices. By comparing a variety of pore topologies, the researchers first discovered that the pore structure of MOF has an important effect on the electrochemical performance at high magnification.
