Waste aluminum casting new equipment

In order to avoid environmental pollution and reduce metal burns, the Kokrade plant uses a double crucible smelting furnace designed by Schmitz Apelt, a German company specializing in the recovery of scrap aluminum. The organics are carbonized at low temperatures in the furnace and the volatiles burn. A gas that is harmless to the environment; the heat released by the combustion guides the smelting process, which can both protect the environment and save a lot of energy.

The complete equipment includes:

2 parallel smelting furnaces;

l static furnace;

2 vertical semi-continuous casting machines;

1 set of melt transfer and flow tank system;

l flue gas treatment and pollutant purification system;

A set of automatic process control system.

The smelting furnace for melting waste is provided with a preheating chamber and a melting chamber, and is divided into two by an air-cooled hanging partition. The smelting chamber is directly heated. The hot flue gas flowing from the smelting chamber indirectly heats the preheating chamber.

This flue gas flows into the preheating chamber through the holes in the partition, and its flow is strictly controlled so as to generate the required preheating temperature, so that the pollutants are partially burned and melted.

When the waste is preheated, the pyrolysis gas of the contaminants is driven into the smelting room by the recirculation blower. At the same time, a certain amount of air is mixed in, so that they are completely combusted, and a combustion product harmless to the environment is formed.

Each room has a large furnace for loading the room with an automatic loading car. The waste is placed on the indoor "bridge" where it is thoroughly dried and fully warmed up.

Above the furnace door is a large suction hood that sucks the flue gas from the furnace and feeds it to the processing system. The smelting furnace has two aluminum outlets, and the upper mouth is for the aluminum melt to flow into the casting machine and the lower mouth is for the furnace to put dry materials. The shut-off is operated by a pneumatic system.

The stationary furnace is heated with natural gas. There are two burners. In this furnace, the gold component is adjusted, and the casting temperature can be controlled accurately at 730°C. The furnace door switch and furnace body tilt are controlled by the hydraulic system. Due to the accurate control of the tilt angle of the furnace body, it can maintain the melt flow and the level of stability, and can cast high-quality ingots. Large furnace door, easy to add alloy elements ingots, stirring and slag.

The melt purification process uses the SNIF system manufactured by Praxair. When this system is used, first the pressed hot slag is pressed, aluminum is recovered, and then the compacted slag is cooled. No treatment chamber, water, compressed air, etc. are required, and thus waste steam can be greatly reduced or even not generated.
