The motor of a worm shaft produced by our factory has a spiral angle λ=12°5′41′′, and the diameter of the tip circle is d_a=8.5_(-0.01)~0mm, as shown in Figure 1. The worm is processed once on the thread grinder. Forming, the process specification stipulates that all important parameters with tolerance requirements are to be inspected, and the tooth height test without tolerance requirements is neglected.
