Common judgment method for compound fertilizer

At present, in the spring grazing preparation season, compound fertilizers are favored by farmers' friends because of their advantages in saving time and labor, and the nutrients required for crops. However, some unscrupulous manufacturers are making profits and making and selling. In order to protect the interests of farmers, several simple methods for identifying the advantages and disadvantages of compound fertilizers are introduced to everyone so that farmers can identify them when purchasing fertilizers. Commonly used judgment methods are as follows:

First look at whether the fertilizer is double-layered, whether the mark on the outer packaging is marked with the trademark, the production license number, the standard number, the total nutrient content, the name and address of the manufacturer, and whether the product certificate is placed in the inner bag, such as the above. The logo is incomplete, or a large number of elements and the trace elements of the medium and trace elements are not labeled, and may be counterfeit products.

Second, touch the hand and grab half of the compound fertilizer, leaving a layer of white powder on the hand and having a good quality of adhesion; if you touch the particles, it can be seen that the fine white crystals also indicate high-quality compound fertilizer.

Three burning a small amount of compound fertilizer placed on the iron sheet, burned with an open flame, ammonia smell indicates nitrogen, yellow flame indicates potassium, and the more ammonia smell, the yellower yellow flame, indicating that the nitrogen and potassium content High, that is, high quality compound fertilizer.

Four smell compound fertilizers generally have no odor (except organic and inorganic compound fertilizers), and if they have odor, they are inferior compound fertilizers.

The five-soluble high-quality compound fertilizer has good water solubility, and most of the soaked in water can be dissolved, even if there is a small amount of precipitate, it is fine. The inferior compound fertilizer is hardly soluble in water, and the residue is rough and hard.

Six tastes because the market is relatively lack of potash, and the price is higher, some illegal manufacturers use red bricks to smash and act as potash. Potassium chloride is salty. It can be tasted with a small amount of compound fertilizer at the time of purchase. If it is not salty, it is a poor quality product.
