Grundfos recently developed Grundfos SPO, a new type of endurance stainless steel submersible pump that is only 5 inches square and is designed for use in home water supply systems. SPO can be operated either in water or in the absence of water, depending on the needs. It is ideal for pumping clean cold water in the home. For example, in open or semi-open wells, and in rainwater harvesting systems. This pump is suitable for irrigation, rainwater harvesting, and applications where flow rates between 3m3/h and 6.5m3/h are required and pressures up to 75m.
