As a commonly used lifting device, the selection of the bucket elevator is subject to many factors, and the wrong model will bring endless trouble to the user. Generally, the selection of the bucket elevator depends on the following factors:

1. Form of material: Whether the material is powder or granular or small.

2. The physical properties of the material: whether the material has adsorption or viscosity, whether it contains water.

3. Proportion of material: The general bucket elevator parameters are designed and calculated for materials with a specific gravity of 1.6 or less. Too large a specific gravity of the material requires the calculation of the traction force and the tensile strength of the transmission part.

4. The amount of delivery per unit time.

Generally speaking, the form of the material directly determines the discharge mode of the material. The common rule is that the powder material is discharged by centrifugal centrifugal discharge, and the bulk material is discharged by gravity, and the different discharge methods determine the hopper form used by the bucket elevator. Differently, the centrifugal discharge discharge adopts a shallow bucket and an arc bucket, while the gravity discharge requires a deep bucket. The type of hopper used in the bucket lifter is different, and the amount of material transported per unit time is different. The final delivery volume of the bucket elevator is a comprehensive parameter depending on the hopper form, bucket speed, material specific gravity, material properties, and number of hoppers. The selection process is as follows: material specific gravity → transmission mode (doping model) → material properties → unloading mode → hopper form → lifting amount of the series bucket elevator → determine the model.
