On the afternoon of June 1, the sixth grade of the School of Materials Science and Engineering was held at 31-447. The competition was presided over by Professor Xu Sankui, the deputy director of teaching. The college invited experts from the school supervision team to serve as judges. Some teachers in the college watched the game.
Since the start of the Grand Prix, the college has mobilized, developed a college competition program, and organized full participation. The college competition is divided into three stages. In the first stage, all the teachers are organized to conduct collective learning on the rules of the competition, the content of the competition, and the scoring standards. In the second stage, each department organizes various professional teachers to conduct group competitions. Each department recommends the selection of 2-3 teachers. Participate in the college rematch; the third stage of the college organizes rematch personnel to compete in the yard and select teachers to enter the school finals. The college re-education was divided into two groups: the traditional teaching design group and the micro-class design group. A total of 9 teachers participated in the competition. Among them, 5 teachers participated in the traditional instructional design group competition, and 4 teachers participated in the micro-class design group competition. The teaching plan score and the course design idea report two parts. From the overall perspective, the atmosphere of the whole game is relaxed and pleasant. The stage and the stage are closely interacted. Every player on the stage is outstandingly prepared, and the teaching ideas and specifics will be given. The combination of classroom teaching and implementation, from the shallower to the deeper, and the way to show their respective teaching style and personality charm. After four hours of intense competition, the first, second and third prizes were awarded, and the first and second prize teachers were recommended to participate in the sixth teaching grand prix.
After the competition, the judges and experts gave a full affirmation to the organization of the Materials Academy Teaching Grand Prix. They believed that the competition was highly valued and organized, and the contestants also performed well. The judges also gave detailed comments, guidance and suggestions on the performance of the contestants from the aspects of PPT production, speech rate, micro-choice selection and teaching plan design. The college will further organize the finalists to carefully prepare and meticulously strive to achieve outstanding results in the 6th Teaching Grand Prix.
